What is Pier 87?

A 3-D part serious, mostly sandbox style game where you play as a bionic seagull named Rue who was freed from the lab they were born and meant to die in. Created to clean up the town from trash and other pollutants, Rue was designated a threat by the Director of the lab for an unknown reason. When a rogue soda can bonks’ Rue on the head and knocks off their control collar, they gain free will and uses their newfound freedom to explore and uncover the dark secrets that plague the town.

A. Move around the town with your built-in seagull-powered jet-pack.

B. Collect trash and eat it with your bionic stomach to raise the cleanliness level of the town and power your flight capabilities.

C. Talk to other lab escapees who have gained sentience and do their quests to gain their power and access locked areas of the town.

D. Do quests for people to raise the cleanliness level of the town.

E. Find “SD” cards scattered around the town that give insight into the background of the evil (or not) research laboratory.
